ToC Elite Package (Program + 10 Hours 1:1)

The Elite Package is our most complete Tournament of Champions preparation: the full 10-week ToC Prep Program (weekly two-hour masterclass with Coach Shaurya plus a weekly two-hour judged practice round — 40 hours) combined with ten hours of private one-on-one coaching, scheduled on demand between September and ToC week.

The 1:1 hours are where individual gaps close. Your scholar's coach uses the judged-round scores and masterclass work to target exactly what needs attention — a second speaker who loses the middle of debates, Challenge accuracy in Art & Music, Collaborative Writing conclusions — and drills it privately. Many families bank several hours for the final two weeks before Yale: a last mock round, a motion-bank sprint, and a taper plan for competition week (November 12–18).

At $2,000 for 50 coached hours, the package prices the private hours at $80/hour — our 20-hour-pack rate — on top of the standard $1,200 program.

How do we schedule the 10 private hours?

On demand, around your timezone. Most families run roughly one hour a week with a few banked for the final two weeks before ToC. Your assigned coach proposes a plan after the first judged round.

Can the 1:1 hours focus on just one event?

Yes — that is the point. The coach targets whatever the judged-round scores show: debate rebuttals, Challenge accuracy in a weak subject, writing structure, or Bowl speed.

What if we do not use all 10 hours before ToC?

Unused hours stay valid after the tournament — many scholars roll them into next-season prep or Regional Round coaching.

Is this the same as buying the program and a 10-hour pack separately?

Almost — separately, the program ($1,200) plus a 10-hour pack ($900) is $2,100. The Elite Package bundles them at $2,000, with the same single-coach continuity.
